Physical Therapist Position - Fort Morgan, Colorado

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Patient Load: Approximately 8-12 patients per day
• Patient Types:

  • Mostly orthopedic (post joint surgeries, pain, back issues, post falls)
  • Some neurological cases
  • Some sports-related injuries
• Care Settings:

  • Mostly outpatient orthopedic
  • Some inpatient acute care and acute rehab
  • Facility includes a warm water therapy pool

Certifications & Requirements

• Required Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Valid Physical Therapist license
• Experience: Willing to train; no specific experience required
• Coverage Area: Facility-based (St. Elizabeth Hospital)
• Orientation: One week, department-specific

Schedule & Work Environment

• Work Days: Tuesday to Friday
• Shift Length: 4 days, 10 hours each (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
• Session Length: 45-minute outpatient sessions
• Scheduling: Blocked time for inpatient evaluations and documentation
• Weekend Requirements: Rare on-call weekends
• Holiday Requirements: None
• Dress Code: Scrubs or business casual

Team Structure

• Supervisors: PT Manager and OTR Supervisor
• Support Staff: 3 PT Assistants (PTAs)

Additional Notes

• Clinicians must be in-state for the week of orientation, even if some modules are remote.
• Must submit a valid driver’s license.
• Radius for travel or commute consideration: 60 miles.
