Travel RN Opportunity - Springfield, Tennessee

Position Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
Employment Type: Travel
Location: Springfield, TN
Unit: MS2 & MS3
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 27 beds on each floor
Patient Ratios: 5:1
Staffing: Unit secretaries during dayshift; techs available on all shifts
Floating: Required to float between MS2 and MS3 units
Scheduling: 3 days per week with every other weekend

Required Skills and Experience

Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in Med/Surg nursing
Clinical Experience: Basic Med/Surg experience with post-op patients, especially orthopedic patients
Advanced Skills: Not required
Procedures: Blood transfusions, IV and central line maintenance

Certifications

Required: BLS
Preferred: ACLS (not required)

Equipment and Documentation

Computer on Wheels (brand new)
Welch Allen vital sign machines (brand new)
Pyxis medication system
Documentation system transitioning from Medhost to Meditech (effective April 19th)

Dress Code

Dark blue uniform required
