Travel RN - Critical Care/ICU

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Facility Type: Critical Care Unit (CCU)

Position Details

Specialty: Critical Care/ICU

Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday day shifts, 24 hours total)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
Call Requirements: None

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 16
Patient Ratios: 1:2
Patient Types: Cardiogenic shock, respiratory failure, renal failure, post-PCI
Equipment: Ventilator management experience required
EMR System: Epic

Requirements

Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Skills:
- Medication titration
- Ability to interpret ECG
- Ventilator patient management
Preferred: Prior ICU experience
Float Requirements: Must float to all step-down units, telemetry, and other ICU-level units

Work Environment & Culture

Personality Fit: Team-oriented
Dress Code: Navy scrubs required; fleece, hoodies, and non-navy tops are not acceptable

Additional Information

Educational modules must be completed prior to starting on the floor.
