Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position

Location: Bradenton, Florida

Facility & Unit Overview

• Level II Trauma Center
• Bed Capacity: 383
• Cardiac Cath Lab Department:

  • 5 procedure suites
  • Staff: 1 Director, 1 CNC, ~4.6 RNs, 5 techs
• Shifts:

  • Day Shift: Full staff coverage
  • Night Shift: On-call crew for emergent cases only
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1 patient to 3-4 staff members
• Equipment: Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, Rotoblator
• EMR Systems: MacLab & Meditech

Job Requirements

• Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Certifications Required:

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • Cath Lab Tech Certification
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in Cardiac Cath Lab specialty (including CRM & PV experience)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
• Schedule: Expected to work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis with hospital staff

Skills & Procedures

• Must Have:

  • Cardiac Cath
  • CRM (Cardiac Rhythm Management)
  • Peripheral Vascular (PV) experience
• Preferred:

  • EP/ABL (Electrophysiology/Ablation)
• Typical Procedures:

  • Diagnostic and Interventional Cath
  • Peripheral Vascular procedures
  • Pacers, ICDs, Watchman, TAVR
  • EP/ABL procedures
