Description

Travel Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Description

Provide timely diagnostic radiology services to inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, OR imaging services, and routine procedures.
Work schedule: Days, Friday through Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM.

Requirements

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) (R).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
High school diploma or GED.
Evidence of Radiologic Technology training from the U.S. Military or graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology with full scope of practice.
Must maintain a state license as a general radiographer.
Must be located greater than 50 miles from the facility.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology Technology specialty.
No explicit requirement for prior travel experience.
