Job Opportunity: RN - OR Circulating

Location: Rapid City, South Dakota

Job Details

• Specialty: RN - OR Circulating
• Facility: Surgical hospital with 11 OR suites and 1 GI suite
• Case Volume: 30 to 50 cases per day
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour days, no call, no weekends
• Floating: No floating to other units/departments
• Dress Code: Scrubs provided (Ceil Blue)

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: South Dakota RN license or compact state RN license
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (American Heart Association)
  • BLS (American Heart Association)
• Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years recent OR circulating experience
  • Strong orthopedic experience, including total joints and arthroscopy
  • Robotics experience highly preferred, especially with MAKO robot

Job Responsibilities

• Circulate primarily in orthopedic surgeries:

  • Total joints (MAKO robot-assisted)
  • Arthroscopy
  • Spine, foot and ankle, hand, ORIF
• Some general surgery, ENT, GYN, and plastics procedures

Additional Information

• Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Local travelers living within 80 miles of the facility may have adjusted pay rates
• Must disclose if previously worked for the health system, with a required 6-month gap before re-submission

This position is ideal for experienced OR circulating RNs with strong orthopedic and robotics skills looking for a stable schedule without weekends or on-call duties.
