Job Opportunity: RN Cath Lab

Location: Denville, New Jersey
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift Options

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (6:30am - 5:30pm)
• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each (6:30am - 2:30pm)
• 10-15 on-call shifts per month for STEMI/Stroke coverage

Requirements & Qualifications

Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• ACLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Nursys license verification
• Primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start
• DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention training)

Exams & Testing

• Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (minimum 80%)
• Prime Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening (minimum 80%)
• Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80%)
• Prime Skills Checklist
• Prime Specialty Exam (minimum 80%)

Health & Immunizations

• COVID-19 vaccine series plus booster or completed declination
• MMR (proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer)
• Hepatitis B vaccination (declinations not accepted at some locations)
• Influenza vaccine or declination (required Nov 1 - Mar 31)
• TB test within 1 year of start date
• Varicella vaccination or immunity titer
• Tdap vaccine (declinations not accepted at some locations)
• Annual respirator fit test (must be completed prior to start if not done onsite)
• Physical/Health statement annually, stating clearance to work

Professional & Compliance

• Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport
• National criminal background check within 1 year of start (with some state-specific timing requirements)
• Prime OIG exclusion check
• Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion search
• Prime Agency Attestation (completed after all credentials uploaded)
• Prime Badge Photo (clear headshot, JPEG format)
• Prime Form I-9 (employment eligibility verification)
• Prime Orientation Packet (Essentials form and post-test)
• Signed Prime Job Description
• Prime Education Verification
• Prime Drug Screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC, within 60 days of start)

Additional Information

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Onboarding requires all credentials and tests to be completed and uploaded prior to start
• Some health and compliance requirements may vary by location

This position is ideal for experienced RN Cath Lab nurses who are comfortable with STEMI/Stroke on-call coverage and meet the comprehensive credentialing and health requirements.
