Description

Job Opportunity: Special Procedures Tech (Travel)

Location: Aventura, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Interventional Radiology (IR Tech)
Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:1
Equipment: Interventional Radiology equipment and supplies
Documentation System: Meditech
Call Requirements:
- On-call required
- Regular shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Call shift: 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM the following morning
- Weekend call is 24 hours
- Minimum of 10 call shifts per month depending on staffing

Requirements

Certified Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
Prior experience in Interventional Radiology Specials
Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty

Additional Information

Surgical scrubs are provided
No explicit preference for prior travel experience mentioned

This position is suited for healthcare professionals with solid experience in interventional radiology who are comfortable with on-call responsibilities and working in a fast-paced environment.
