Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Location: Oro Valley, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel

Job Description

Provide care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care delivery in the Emergency Department.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Required to float between departments and to the Marana Emergency Department.
Must be willing to float between sister facilities within the system.

Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience.
Arizona RN license required.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
Preferred certifications: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), NIH certification.

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Rotating weekends
36 hours guaranteed
