Physical Therapist (PT) - Temporary Position

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Provide direct physical therapy services to patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members.
• Participate in developing comprehensive patient care plans.
• Use rehabilitation equipment such as splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, ADL equipment, and modalities.
• Work a block schedule with 10-12 hour shifts (no shift accommodations).
• 32-hour workweek guarantee (40 hours not available).
• Holiday coverage required: must work two of the following holiday periods:

  • Thanksgiving and the Friday/weekend after
  • Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the Friday/weekend after
  • New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and the Friday/weekend after
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required.
• Holiday and overtime pay multipliers apply.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current physical therapy experience.
• Inpatient experience required.
• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred.
• Must have own vehicle (firm requirement).
• Permanent address must be included in profile.
• All requested Return to Office (RTO) information must be included in profile.

Documentation/Profile Requirements

• Work history.
• Skills checklist relevant to the position, current within 1 year.
• Two supervisory signed references from within the past 2 years of employment.
• License and certifications must be uploaded with profile.

Certifications

• BLS (AHA) required.

State License

• Must hold a valid Massachusetts physical therapy license.

Additional Notes

• Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• Extensions ending in November or before December holidays will not be considered for extension into 2026.
