Travel RN Opportunity - ICU Unit, Conroe, Texas

Unit Information

Unit: ICU (3rd Floor)
Number of Beds: 30
Number of Staff: 82
Shift Structure: Day/night shifts with 2 charge nurses and 15 staff nurses (varies by acuity and 1:1 needs)
Patient Ratios: 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1
Equipment: CRRT, IABP, Impella (experience with Impella not mandatory)
EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills and Experience

Must Have: ICU experience with ventilator management and cardiovascular drips
Preferred: Neuro experience

Typical Procedures Performed

Thoracentesis
Arterial line and central line placement

Certifications Required

ACLS
BLS

Work Schedule and Policies

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekend Shifts: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
On Call: No on call required
Floating Areas: IMU
Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
