Description
Diagnostic Imaging Technologist - Contract Position
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Must have a current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license by the start of the assignment.
- Must hold current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a radiologic technologist.
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in operating radiographic equipment independently without supervision.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protocols required. Must wear a dosimeter badge.
- Experience preferred with:
- Meditech EMR
- Philips DR
- Philips C-arms
- OEC C-arms
- Konica DR
Work Schedule
- Varied shifts: Day and Evening.
- Average of 3 days of call per month.
- No guarantee of hours or time off requests.
Additional Information
- Traveler must arrive on the island the Thursday before the Monday start date to complete employee health appointments and HR/EH clearance.
- Must be able to start on time; do not accept the start date if unable to arrive as required.
