Description
Physical Therapist (PT) - Temporary Position
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Accurately assess and diagnose patient movement and functional deficits.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with patient-centered goals to reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
- Perform patient evaluations including history, systems review, and specific tests/measures.
- Establish and implement plans of care in accordance with physician orders.
- Conduct ongoing reassessments and manage discharge planning from the first visit onward.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary staff and students per state laws and policies.
- Complete clear, accurate documentation within required timeframes following accreditation and insurance standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members using AIDET principles.
- Assess and provide education to meet the needs of patients and their support systems.
- Participate in professional development activities such as in-service meetings and workshops.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, complying with safety standards.
- Practice within the scope defined by Oklahoma state law.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience.
- Valid Oklahoma state license.
