Physical Therapist Travel Position

Job Details

• Shift Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday (9-10 hour shifts)

• Dress Code: Professional street clothes (no scrubs)

Unit & Patient Care Information

• Responsible for the entire 735-bed hospital unit
• Therapists pick up assignments in the main rehab office, then treat patients unit to unit, room to room
• All patient rooms are single occupancy
• Interdisciplinary team includes PTs, PTAs, OTs, COTAs, Speech Therapists, and Rehab Techs
• Equipment available: Patient lifting devices (SARA+, Stedy, Maximove), walkers, gait belts
• Procedures include evaluating patients, developing care plans, implementing therapeutic interventions, supervising care, and communicating with patients, families, and staff
• Acute care experience preferred, especially in orthopedics, neurology, and cardiopulmonary areas

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy
• Current North Carolina PT license required
• BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of acute care experience preferred
