Travel RN – Operating Room

Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Saturday rotation every 6 weeks
Call Requirements: At least 40 hours per 6 weeks
Number of Openings: 1
Float Requirements: Must stay within the OR unit

Experience & Certifications

Required Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
Preferred Specialty Experience: 3+ years OR experience with strong skills in high acuity surgical patients
Prior Travel Experience: Required
Required Certifications:
- BLS
- NIH
- Kentucky RN License

Number of OR Beds: 31
Patient Ratios: 1:1

- DaVinci SP & XI Robots
- O-Arm
- Rosa Robot
EMR System: Cerner
Patient Types:
- Neuro (spine/cranial, navigation)
- Orthopedics (including robotics/arthroscopic)
- Thoracic and Vascular (complex cases)

- ENT/Radical Neck procedures (complex)
