    Job Opportunity: Cardiopulmonary Respiratory Therapist

    Location: Aberdeen, Washington
    Employment Type: Contract
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Job Description

    • 13-week assignment
    • 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
    • Shift time: 05:30 AM – 6:00 PM
    • Must have strong OB experience
    • Team player required
    • Any requested time off (RTO) must be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract

    Responsibilities

    • Provide, coordinate, and direct individualized comprehensive respiratory care based on patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
    • Function with minimal supervision after orientation
    • Accountable to Cardiopulmonary Director or Lead RRT in their absence

    Position Requirements

    • Current Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner license
    • Maintain certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
    • Practice within the scope of a Respiratory Care Practitioner
    • Preferably one year of current acute care experience; new graduates considered
    • Physical requirements:
      • Lift 50 lbs from floor to waist and wheelchair to bed level
      • Lift 5 lbs overhead
      • Pull 50 lbs from stretcher to bed
      • Push 150 lbs loaded stretcher for 300 feet
    • Auditory ability to perform procedures and take accurate blood pressures
    • Vision adequate for patient observation and charting
    • Ability to meet specific criteria for the Cardiopulmonary department
