Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position
Location: Seneca, South Carolina

Shift Details
- Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Call Required: Yes (Nights & Weekends)
Required Certifications & Skills
- ARRT MR (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Magnetic Resonance)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Skill sets required:
- Adult Acute Care
- Adult ICU
- Adult Outpatient
- ER/Trauma
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required
- No first-time travelers accepted
Floating Policy
- Staff may be required to float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs.
- Floating will only be to units where the staff member is qualified and has demonstrated competencies.
- Goal is to keep staff in their home unit, but flexibility is required.
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
Background Checks
- 7-year background check within 12 months of start required.
- Must include SS trace, all aliases, state and county searches for all places lived/worked in last 7 years.
- Federal searches required for Home Health Care, PACE, and Hospice.
- FACIS III search required (Healthcare Sanctions).
- Sex offender and international searches if applicable.
- Background checks updated annually unless there is a gap of 30+ days between contracts.
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and every 30 days thereafter.
- Fingerprinting required for certain roles and states (e.g., WV).
Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA or ARC only, valid at start.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or ARC only, valid at start.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required for pediatric units, ER, PACU.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required for NICU, Pediatrics, and infants.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – Required for ER/ED and Pediatric ER.
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) – AWHONN required as applicable.
- Tech Certification (National) – Must be current and valid.
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (HIPAA, OSHA, TJC training) – Valid annually.
- STABLE certification – Required for L&D and NICU RNs.
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) – Required for ER and Pediatric ER.
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) – Required for RNs, Electrophysiology Techs, Monitor Techs.
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) – Required for ER/ED, Pediatric ER, Behavioral Health.
- State License Verification – Primary source verification required, valid at start.
- NURSYS Verification – Must show all licenses and authorization to work in SC.
- IV Certification – Required for LPN/LVN candidates.
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or equivalent – Required for ER/ED, Pediatric ER, Behavioral Health.
- NIH Stroke Certification – Required annually for ICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU, SICU, MICU, Telemetry, Stepdown, ER, Pediatric ER, and other specified units.
- Miscellaneous certifications such as Lactation Certificate for Women’s RN candidates.
Competencies & Exams
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam – Annual, with full score breakdown.
- Color Blind Testing – Required for nurses in ED, Pediatric ER, and MLTs/MLSs.
- Core Parts I, II, III – Annual training including universal precautions, cultural diversity, pain management, harassment, fire safety, OSHA bloodborne pathogens, age-specific care, and TJC National Patient Safety Goals.
- EKG Practice Test and Study Guide – Required for RNs (except Behavioral Health, LTC, MS, OR, Transitional Care), EP Techs, and Monitor Techs.
Facility Specific Documents
- Badge photo required (passport style, light background, no hats or filters).
- Contractor Acknowledgment form – Annual.
- Online Cornerstone Modules – Must be completed within 72 hours of assignment; approximately 12 hours of modules.
- Floating Policy acknowledgment – Annual.
- Pass/Fail Testing Information – Time sensitive; must be completed prior to start.
- Compliance Checklist – Must be completed by Clinical Liaison.
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical Exam – Within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet physical demands.
- Respirator Fit Test – Completed onsite during orientation.
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap – Required for clinical and non-clinical in high-risk areas, valid within 10 years.
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray – True 2-step PPD or equivalent within 90 days of start.
- Annual TB Questionnaire.
- Immunizations or positive titers required for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (vaccination series, positive titer, or signed declination)
- Varicella
- Drug Testing – 5 panel drug screen within 1 year of start, updated annually.
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required by deadlines (not required for 100% remote).
Additional Notes
- No first-time travelers accepted for this assignment.
- Candidate must have a valid driver’s license for computer access setup and must carry ID while on duty.
- All certifications must be current and cannot expire within 30 days of assignment start.
- Proof of completion certificates are generally not accepted; actual certification cards are required.
- Testing and modules are mandatory and must be completed timely to avoid cancellation.
