Ultrasound Tech Travel Assignment - Kansas (Garden City)

Job Overview

• Position: Ultrasound Tech
• Location: Garden City, Kansas
• Schedule: Days, 40-hour guarantee with call
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Certifications & Requirements

• ARDMS certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) via ARDMS
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS
• Additional acceptable certifications include:

  • RDMS (OB/GYN), RDMS (AB), or RDMS (BR)
  • ARRT registered R.T.(S), R.T.(S)(BS), or R.T.(S)(VS)
  • Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS)
• Must have 1 year of sonography experience
• Must be able to start IVs and have contrast experience

Job Duties

• Provide quality patient care within the medical imaging department
• Perform high-quality ultrasound images and exams
• Procedures include:

  • Abdominal, Pelvic, OB, Head, Extremity, Retro-peritoneal, Small parts, and Vascular imaging
  • Potential for cardiac imaging at some locations
• May be required to float or cover other areas depending on location

Additional Information

• Orientation week requires clinicians to be in-state, even if some modules are remote
• Must submit a valid driver's license
• Hiring process includes profile review and interview with unit manager
• Work radius: within 60 miles
