Job Opportunity: Technologist (Temp)

Location: Midland, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Set up all radiographic equipment prior to angiographic procedures
• Process and perform quality control checks on cine radiographic images
• Assist in preparing patients for procedures
• Support cath lab/Interventional Radiology staff and physicians to ensure efficient use of the cardiac cath lab/special procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in prepping patients, sterile tray setup, post-cath care, procedures, and room cleanup (35%)
• Manipulate equipment and set appropriate techniques on radiographic generators for optimal image quality (35%)
• Operate electronic equipment such as cardiac output computers, oxygen saturation equipment, hemodynamic equipment, pacemakers, and perform oxygen saturation studies and cardiac output measurements (30%)

Requirements

Experience

• Cath Lab experience is required

Certifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• ARRT

Additional Submission Requirements

• All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission; no scheduling requests will be approved after an offer is made
• Work history and skills checklist current to within 1 year, relevant to the specialty
• Two supervisory reference forms from within the last two years
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates will not be considered)
