Description
Job Opportunity: Technologist (Temp)
Location: Midland, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Set up all radiographic equipment prior to angiographic procedures
- Process and perform quality control checks on cine radiographic images
- Assist in preparing patients for procedures
- Support cath lab/Interventional Radiology staff and physicians to ensure efficient use of the cardiac cath lab/special procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in prepping patients, sterile tray setup, post-cath care, procedures, and room cleanup (35%)
- Manipulate equipment and set appropriate techniques on radiographic generators for optimal image quality (35%)
- Operate electronic equipment such as cardiac output computers, oxygen saturation equipment, hemodynamic equipment, pacemakers, and perform oxygen saturation studies and cardiac output measurements (30%)
Requirements
Experience
- Cath Lab experience is required
Certifications
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- ARRT
Additional Submission Requirements
- All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission; no scheduling requests will be approved after an offer is made
- Work history and skills checklist current to within 1 year, relevant to the specialty
- Two supervisory reference forms from within the last two years
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates will not be considered)
