Job Overview

Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide and manage patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team using the nursing process.
Required to float to a nearby facility if needed.
Must work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).
Limited time off allowed during late November and late December/early January holiday periods.
Billable overtime available after 40 hours per week.
Call back and on-call pay multipliers apply.
Expected to work 36-40 hours per week.

Required Experience & Skills

Hospital or medical center experience.
Electrophysiology (EP) case experience is required.
Travel nursing experience is desired.

Certifications & Licenses

ACLS (AHA)
BLS (AHA)
Iowa State Nursing License (Compact license allowed)

References (highly preferred; may be required during onboarding).

Holiday pay multiplier: 1.15x
Call back pay multiplier: 1.5x with 2-hour minimum
On-call pay: $9/hr
Charge/precept pay: $6/hr
