Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technician (Travel)

Location: Clovis, California
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• On-call shifts required as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology

Required Certifications and Licenses

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (AHA)
• California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
• California Radiologic Tech Fluoroscopy Permit (CRTFP)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Preferred (not required):

  • ARRT Vascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT VI)
  • ARRT Cardiac Interventional (ARRT CI)
  • ARRT Cardiac-Vascular Intervention (ARRT CVI)

Health and Compliance Requirements

• COVID-19 Vaccine (proof or exemption)
• MMR Immunization or positive titer
• Hepatitis B vaccination series or positive antibody titer (or declination)
• Influenza Vaccine (required October - March, with exemptions)
• Negative TB test within 30 days of start (skin test, QuantiFERON Gold, or T-spot)
• Drug Screen (9 panel minus THC) within 30 days of start, updated annually
• Varicella Immunization or positive titer
• Tdap vaccination within past 10 years
• Fit Test (may be completed onsite on start date)
• Health Statement confirming ability to work without restrictions (signed within 1 year)

Professional Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License or State ID (passport accepted)
• Resume/Profile submission required
• Two professional references (minimum one supervisory)
• Criminal Background Check (7-year, county and national, updated every 3 years)
• OIG, EPLS, OFAC, National Sex Offender, and Medi-Cal exclusion list checks (within 30 days of start, updated annually)
• Confirmation of Assignment/Job Description acknowledgment
• Acknowledgement of Receipt for Policy Packet
• Dispute Resolution Agreement signed
• Badge Photo (neutral background, no facial jewelry)
• Release of Information for MyChart signed
• Attestation regarding any Do Not Rehire/Send (DNS) records from prior 3 years

• Skills checklist specific to clinical role required within 1 year of start
• Various compliance documents must be updated with each contract extension

This position is ideal for experienced Interventional Radiology Technicians who meet California state licensing requirements and are comfortable with travel assignments and on-call shifts.
