Job Opportunity: Diagnostic Imaging - Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Yuma, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)

Shift Details

• Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30/5:00 pm
• No call, no weekends, no holidays

Requirements

• Current ARRT or ARDMS certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Compliance with continuing medical education (CME)
• Ability to work independently performing ultrasound exams including:

  • General ultrasound
  • Abdominal
  • OB (Obstetrics)
  • GYN (Gynecology)
  • Breast
  • Vascular/Arterial
• Ability to evaluate, synthesize, and communicate diagnostic information to referring physicians and radiologists
• Responsible for patient safety and well-being in the Imaging Department
• Ability to troubleshoot ultrasound equipment and communicate effectively with service engineers for repairs
• Ability to perform general diagnostic radiology procedures
• Willingness to cross-train into other imaging modalities
• Ability to organize daily work schedule and perform related clerical duties
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and healthcare team
• Ability to follow established departmental procedures
