Travel RN Opportunity – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Location: Portland, Maine

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift & Schedule
- Varied day shifts including:
- 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
- 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM
- 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM
- Weekend hours: 36 hours, rotating schedule
- Call requirements: Yes
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Float requirements: Yes
Unit & Patient Information
- Unit: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Number of beds: 21 bays
- Patient ratios: 1:2 or 1:3
- Patient type: Post Anesthesia patients, critical care
- Facility type: Level 1 trauma center (preferred experience)
Experience & Skills Required
- Minimum 5+ years RN experience
- Must have:
- Post Anesthesia Care experience
- Phase 2 recovery experience
- ICU background
- Preferred:
- EPIC EMR experience
- Level 1 trauma center experience
Certifications & Education
- Required certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
