Registered Nurse (RN) - New Lenox, Illinois (Temp)

Job Description

• Assess physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients within assigned unit.
• Plan and implement nursing care to meet patient needs.
• Lead and oversee subordinate personnel to ensure nursing care plans are executed.
• Conduct patient evaluations, document progress, plan treatments, and manage discharge functions.

Requirements

• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of current CVICU experience (required).
  • Open-heart experience (required).
  • Prior Cerner experience (strongly preferred).
  • Thoracic, vascular, and interventional experience (preferred).

• Certifications (must be active at time of submission):

  • ACLS (AHA)
  • BLS (AHA)
  • NIHSS

• Licenses:

  • Illinois nursing license (must be active and included in submission).
  • Agency Illinois nursing license (required for staffing temporary needs).

• Vaccinations:

  • COVID and FLU vaccinations required; declinations will not be approved.
  • Vaccination status must be included in profile.

• Additional Submission Requirements:

  • Resume
  • Skills checklist (within 1 year)
  • Two supervisory references
  • COVID card/status
