Job Opportunity: Radiology Technician (Travel)
Location: Carmel, Indiana

Job Description
- Work in CT and X-ray
- Schedule: Monday to Wednesday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Coverage includes Inpatient and Emergency Room departments
Required Certifications and Credentials
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - Must be AHA certified
- Current License and Primary Source Verification - Within 30 days prior to assignment start
- Ascension Core Competencies - HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics; completed within a year and updated yearly with minimum 80% score
- Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation - 6 hours pre-hire training with signed attestation
- Driver's License/State ID - Valid, must match address requirements
- Ascension Profile (Resume or Professional Profile)
- Ascension 2 Professional References - At least two professional references prior to first assignment
- Ascension Criminal Background Check Results - Includes Social Security Trace, Employment Verification, OIG Search, National Sex Offender; completed within 30 days of first assignment and updated annually
- Ascension EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) - Run within 90 days of start, rerun if break in service > 90 days
- Ascension Skills Checklist - Clinical skills checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually
- Ascension Education Verification - Verification of relevant education within 90 days of start, rerun if break in service > 90 days
- Ascension Confirmation of Assignment - Provided upon initial assignment and updates for extensions
- Ascension Employment Verification - Third-party verification for past 7 years, updated annually
Required Personal Health History and Immunizations
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - Documented proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted
- Fit Test - Required for all travelers; preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite; updated annually
- Hepatitis B - Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Influenza Vaccine - Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement
- Positive PPD - Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire - Proof of positive IGRA or PPD results, chest X-ray within a year, and completed TB questionnaire; updated annually
- 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) - Required within specified timeframes prior to start; TB questionnaire updated annually
- Varicella - Proof of two vaccines, serological immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider; no declinations accepted
- Tdap - Valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted
- Health Statement - Statement of good health or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
- Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen - Completed within 30 days prior to start; includes testing for 12 specified drugs with MRO review if applicable
Additional Notes
- Medical Imaging Contract Worker Form completed onsite by facility
- Some documents must be uploaded prior to submission or onboarding as specified
- Compliance with all credentialing and health requirements is mandatory for assignment start and continuation
This position offers a focused travel opportunity for Radiology Technicians with experience in CT and X-ray, working overnight shifts in a hospital setting covering inpatient and emergency departments.
