Description

Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Location: Tacoma, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Setting: Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital (60 beds)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, primarily 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Weekend: Occasional weekend flexing (1 weekend day per month) with a compensatory day off during the week
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Patient Population: Adult and older adult
Patient Load: Approximately 6.5 treatments per 8-hour day

Requirements

Experience: Must have inpatient rehab experience
Certifications: Valid physical therapy license and occupational therapy license
Common Diagnoses: Experience with CVA (stroke) and neurological cases preferred

Additional Information

Department: Therapy
Shift: Monday-Friday with 1 weekend day per month and one comp day
First Day Reporting: 8:00 AM, wear any scrub color
Work Environment: State-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital focused on recovery from severe injury or illness
