Description
Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position
Location: Tacoma, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Setting: Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital (60 beds)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, primarily 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Weekend: Occasional weekend flexing (1 weekend day per month) with a compensatory day off during the week
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
- Patient Population: Adult and older adult
- Patient Load: Approximately 6.5 treatments per 8-hour day
Requirements
- Experience: Must have inpatient rehab experience
- Certifications: Valid physical therapy license and occupational therapy license
- Common Diagnoses: Experience with CVA (stroke) and neurological cases preferred
Additional Information
- Department: Therapy
- Shift: Monday-Friday with 1 weekend day per month and one comp day
- First Day Reporting: 8:00 AM, wear any scrub color
- Work Environment: State-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital focused on recovery from severe injury or illness
