Description

Travel Nurse Opportunity – Medical Surgical Unit (Med Surg)

Location: Winslow, Arizona (Small rural hospital)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: July 8

Position Details

Unit: Medical Surgical (Med Surg)
Shift: Nights (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Schedule: At least 2 weekends per month (may vary)
Openings: 1

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
ACLS and BLS certification required
Pediatric experience strongly preferred but not mandatory
Experience with advanced life support
Ability to manage a wide range of diagnoses
Willingness to take COVID rule outs
Experience in a small facility is helpful
Cerner experience preferred

Additional Information

Patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on acuity
Hospital housing provided in nearby modular home (no pets or significant others allowed)
Night shift position with a diverse patient population including pediatrics

This role offers the chance to work in a small rural hospital setting while exploring Arizona.
