• Weekend/Holiday: Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday as needed
• Call/Floating: No call, no floating required
• Patient Ratio: 1:5

Requirements

• Valid Tennessee or Multistate RN License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH (ARC/AHA only) certifications required
• Minimum 1 year experience required; 2 years preferred
• Experience with Cerner EMR system
• Must be located greater than 50 miles from the facility
• Scrubs color: Navy

Role Summary

The RN is responsible for providing care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care delivery. The RN will maintain clinical competencies through continuing education, delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience, and provide supervision and direction to assigned personnel.
