Job Opportunity: Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Rolla, Missouri
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities, and to decrease aspirations.
  • Create communication treatment plans to help individuals better understand and be understood by others.
  • Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations and facility policies.
  • Provide appropriate care and services to residents in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of Speech and Language Pathology (SLP) experience (highest required years of experience).
  • Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings is required.
  • Must hold a valid, unrestricted Missouri State License for SLP (Compact license allowed).
  • Must be a CCC certified SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
  • Will accept one professional reference at time of submission.
