Job Opportunity: PACU Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse
Job Description
- Provide care to Post Anesthesia Care patients in collaboration with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Surgical staff, and other healthcare personnel.
- Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act, AORN guidelines, and hospital policies.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
- Floating may be required as needed.
Work Schedule
- Shift: Four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
- On-Call: 10-12 days of call within a 6-week schedule period
Requirements
- Arizona RN License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- EMR system used: Cerner
- Scrub color: Any color allowed
Contract Length
- 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
