Travel RN Opportunity - SCU/IMC Unit

Location: Damariscotta, Maine

Position Details

• Shift: 6 AM - 6 PM or 6 PM - 6 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend minimum (36 hours)
• Call Requirements: None during core hours
• Float Requirements: Occasional float to Medical-Surgical (MS) unit
• Number of Openings: 2 RN travelers plus 1 maternity leave coverage starting 12/10/25

Experience & Skills

• Required Years of Experience: 5 years in specialty (SCU/IMC)
• Must Have Skills:

  • Experience with vasoactive drips
  • Ventilator management
• Preferred Experience: ICU/SCU background
• Patient Population: Step-Down Unit, Intermediate Care, Medical-Surgical, Swing bed patients (rarely)

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 8
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 4:1
• Equipment: Ventilators, ceiling lifts, Plumb Pumps, feeding tubes, chest tubes, SCD boots
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
