Job Opportunity: Nuclear Med Tech

Location: Riverside, California
Employment Type: Travel Contract (13 weeks)

Unit Information

Department: Nuclear Medicine
Facility Floor: Basement, Building B
Equipment: 3 GE Cameras, including dedicated cardiac and SPECT

Job Description

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic scans
Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures including:
- Cardiac scans
- Lexiscan
- Adenosine
- VQ Scans
- WBC Scans
- HIDA
- MUGA
- GI Bleed
- Octreo
- MIBG
- Y90
- Zephyr

Schedule

Shifts are 8 hours, typically between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM
Weekends and on-call duties required

Required Qualifications

Certifications:
- CNMT, ARRT NM, or NMTCB
- BLS certification
IV certification and general Nuclear Medicine training from an accredited program
Minimum 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine specialty

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SPECT
EKG certification

Additional Information

No floating required
Dress code: Hunter Green scrubs
