    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
    • Chemotherapy (if applicable)
    • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (if applicable)
    • IV Certification (LVN/LPN/Other, if applicable)
    • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) (if applicable)
    • NIH Stroke Certification (every 2 years)
    • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) (if applicable)
    • State License (CPDH Certificate required for RTs in CA)
    • NURSYS Verification (for RNs)

    Note: Certification requirements may vary based on unit and specialty. Check clinical tracks or unit directives.


    Compliance and Documentation Requirements

    • Background Check: Within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years. Must include SSN Trace, Death Master Index, Counties, Nationwide, National Sex Offender, FACIS Level 3, Education Verification, MVR (if Home Health), and International Background Search (if applicable).
    • E-Verify Attestation
    • Social Security Card
    • Driver’s License / State ID
    • I9 Attestation
    • Education Verification: Required for all candidates; international education requires additional documentation.
    • References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year employment within last 3 years (6 months for CNAs).
    • Employment Application: Must include last 5 years of employment (7 years for APN/Subcontractors).
    • Skills Checklist: Required annually for applicable units.
    • Physical Exam: Within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO.
    • Drug Testing: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests).
    • Immunizations and Health Documents:
      • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination accepted)
      • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray (annual update required)
      • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 vaccines or positive titer or declination
      • Hepatitis B - vaccination series or signed declination
      • Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titer or declination
      • Flu Vaccine (seasonal, declination accepted)
      • COVID-19 Vaccine or Declination (required if onsite)
      • Respirator Safety Clearance (RespSafety) - required for travel candidates, annually updated
      • Fit Mask Test (required for travel candidates, annually updated)

    Orientation and Training

    • Epic Training: Required; candidates must complete Epic modules relevant to their role.
    • WorkRamp Modules:
      • Core Modules for profession required prior to start.
      • Specialty and Regional Modules may be required depending on unit and location.
      • Annual Regulatory Modules required for all caregivers.
      • Specialty-specific modules required for ER, L&D, and leadership roles.
    • Float Policy: Acknowledgement required; may float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance.

    Additional Notes

    • Candidates must submit Return to Office (RTO) restrictions at time of submission.
    • Facility allows one call-off per two-week pay period.
    • Pending licenses are not accepted.
    • Locals are accepted for this travel/contract position.
    • Orientation is 16 hours.
    • Floating between like units is required.
    • Block scheduling is possible based on manager discretion.

    This position is ideal for healthcare professionals with at least 1 year of experience in therapy/rehabilitation, who are flexible with floating and scheduling, and are ready to start quickly in an acute care hospital setting using Epic charting.
