Contract Length: 13 weeks

• NURSYS Verification for RN, LPN/LVN, AP as applicable

Background & Compliance Requirements

• 7-year background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks upon hire
• Education verification (highest level) required
• Work history verification for 7 years
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start; additional onsite drug screen during orientation (only one attempt allowed)
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually
• Immunizations and titers required:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • TB questionnaire annually if positive
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines (boosters required if negative/equivocal)
  • Hepatitis B: Positive titer, series, or declination accepted
  • Varicella: Positive titer, 2 vaccines, or physician-documented history of chickenpox
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required

This position is suitable for surgical technologists with at least 1 year of experience in surgical services, including a broad range of specialties, who are interested in a travel contract role in Texas. Prior travel experience is not required.
