Occupational Therapist - Travel/Contract Position

Location: Glendive, Montana
Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

Seeking an Occupational Therapist for a travel/contract assignment.


Requirements & Credentials

Identification & Background

  • Government issued photo ID (Driver's License/State ID) required
  • 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check required within 30 days of start
  • HHS/OIG check required within 30 days of start

Certifications

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) as required by unit
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) as required by unit
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) as required by unit
  • National Tech Certification Verification as applicable
  • Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement required annually
  • State License primary source verification required

Competencies

  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
  • Competency Exam as applicable to profession/specialty

Facility Specific Policies

  • Dress Code Policy to be reviewed prior to start
  • Parking Policy to be reviewed prior to start
  • Confidentiality and Security Commitment must be reviewed and signed
  • Emergency Codes must be reviewed and signed
  • Flu Declination Form required if declining flu vaccine during flu season

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start (not required annually)
  • Fit mask test completed onsite on first day
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (various acceptable testing options)
  • Immunizations or positive titers required for:
    • Rubeola (Measles)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B
    • Varicella
  • Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year of start (instant acceptable)
  • Seasonal vaccinations/documentation required:
    • Flu vaccine or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - March 31)
    • COVID vaccine required; exemptions accepted

Annual Requirements

  • Skills Checklist required annually

This position requires compliance with all listed certifications, background checks, health documents, and facility policies prior to and during the contract assignment.
