Job Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (Interventional Radiology)
- Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts (10-hour days)
- Average Daily Caseload: 18 patients
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- On-Call Requirement: Yes (30-minute arrival time when on call)
- Floating: Required to float between like units
- Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks (may be called off for 1 shift per 2-week period)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in Interventional Radiology
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
- Locals Accepted: No

Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support): AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification
- Additional certifications may be required based on unit or specialty (verify with clinical leadership)
Experience & Competency Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exams as applicable
- Competency exams required by specialty/unit
- Color Blind Testing may be required on a unit basis (80% passing score)
Background & Compliance Requirements
- Background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- Education verification required for all candidates
- State-specific searches and registry checks as applicable (Washington state requirements)
- Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within last 3 years
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years of employment with explanations for gaps/overlaps
Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Fit mask test (N95 or equivalent) required for travel candidates, updated annually
- Immunizations/vaccinations required:
- TDAP (within 10 years or declination accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal Flu vaccine or declination (required during flu season)
- COVID-19 vaccine or declination
- Respiratory safety clearance required annually for travel candidates
Training & Onboarding
- Completion of Providence WorkRamp modules required prior to start, including:
- Core regulatory modules (annual)
- Specialty-specific modules for Interventional Radiology and related units
- Epic training modules (completion required prior to moving to Paid Day Work status)
- Photo for badge required (passport style with neutral background)
- Floating policy acknowledgment required
Additional Notes
- Candidates must be willing and able to float between similar units within the facility or system
- Locals are not accepted for this travel assignment
- Guaranteed hours with possibility of being called off one shift per two-week period
- Facility uses EPIC for charting and documentation
