Travel RN Opportunity – Operating Room (OR)

Location: Johnstown, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (Surgical Services)
• Department: OR (Cost Center 16910)
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: Days, varied shifts including 9-5, 11-7, 1-9, 3-11, and weekend daylight shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend / as needed
• Call Requirements: Yes, 1-2 times per week, 8-hour call increments
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Number of Beds in Unit: 22
• EHR System: EPIC
• Patient Population: All ages
• Dress Code: Blue scrubs provided; no casual wear allowed

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in Pennsylvania
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC
• 1-2 years of RN experience
• Must be willing to accept on-call and off shifts as scheduled
• Must complete all required background clearances and fingerprinting prior to start (including Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI fingerprinting, and PA State Police Clearance)

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Experience in Level 1 trauma settings
• Robotic surgery experience a plus

Additional Notes

• Float to other units as needed

• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
