Job Opportunity: Technologist (OR Radiologic Technologist)

Location: Bettendorf, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• OR Radiologic Technologist position primarily running C-arm for the majority of the day.
• Assist with general X-ray when not in the OR.
• Coverage includes three campuses: Rock Island, Moline, and Bettendorf, with most shifts in Bettendorf.
• Must be able to float within the Quad Cities market if needed.
• Local travelers are not accepted; candidates must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray experience.
• Ability to operate C-arm for surgical cases, including potential weekend cases.
• At least 1 completed travel assignment.
• Must have completed a skills checklist within 1 year of submission.
• Required certifications and licenses (see below).
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
• Proof of taxable address required to verify eligibility.

Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT certification required.
• Illinois Radiology license required; this will allow Iowa license to pend.

Additional Information

• Must be prepared for same-day interviews.
• Required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).
• Limited time off allowed during late November and late December holiday periods.
• EMR system used: EPIC.
• On-call and holiday work required with applicable multipliers.
