Description
Job Opportunity: Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech)
Location: Roseville, California
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Position Summary
A clinic in California is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1+ years as a Radiologic/Mammography Technologist (higher value confirmed)
- Licenses & Certifications:
- Active CA Medical Radiographer license (MRAD:CA)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA CPR)
- ARRT Mammography certification (ARRT(M))
- Education:
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent
- Completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Completion of 40 hours of structured education in Mammography
- Preferred:
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR) preferred
- Six (6) months experience in an outpatient environment preferred
- Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging
- Proper operation and care of radiology diagnostic equipment
- Radiation safety knowledge
- Familiarity with medical terminology, electronic practice management systems, and PACS
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8-hour day shift)
