Description
Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position
Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Job Details
- Work Schedule:
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- One weekend required per month
- Holidays as required
- Setting: Inpatient and Acute units
- Patient Population: Geriatric, Neurological, Stroke, and Amputation patients
- Responsibilities:
- Complete all aspects of care for assigned patient load including evaluations
- Formulate plan of care and collaborate with patient, family, and other disciplines
- Perform therapeutic interventions and education
- Meet all documentation requirements outlined by the department
- Must be willing to float to different units
Requirements
- Education:
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy required
- Licenses:
- Current Alabama Occupational Therapist License in good standing
- Preferred: PT, OT, and SLP licenses
- Certifications:
- AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
- Will consider 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in the specialty field (Occupational Therapy)
- Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
