Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech - RCIS

Location: Lakewood, Colorado

Position Details

• Specialty: Cath Lab Tech - RCIS
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Schedule:

  • 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (4x10 hour shifts)
  • Call requirements:

    • Weeknights: 1-2 calls per week
    • Weekends: 2 calls per 6-week pay cycle
    • Holidays: Call required
  • Call response time: 30 minutes
• Floating: Yes, within the department
• Orientation: Unit/department-specific orientation lasting 4 days (4x10 hour days) including call

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - AHA
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) via CCI

Experience Requirements

• Solid experience as a STEMI and cardiovascular lab technician
• Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated, but solid experience required (implies intermediate to advanced level)

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting in scrub, monitor, and circulating roles within the Cath Lab

• Number of suites/labs: 2 cath labs, 2 EP labs, 1 hybrid lab

• Cardiologist hours/on-call: 8-10 hours per 6-week pay period
• Dress code: Scrub color/dress code required

Additional Notes

• Must be available in-state for the week of orientation (even if some modules are remote)
• Driver’s license must be submitted
• Radius for travel: 60 miles from facility
