Nursing Contract Opportunity – Hospice Care
Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide compassionate hospice nursing care, supporting patients and families through end-of-life care.
- Act as a teacher to patients and caregivers, helping them identify personal goals of care and build confidence in caregiving.
- Manage a caseload of patients as a Primary Registered Nurse, leading an interdisciplinary care team.
- Deliver care in various settings including private homes, nursing homes, group homes, or assisted living facilities.
- Thrive in a personalized care environment that values strong clinical skills, assessment, and critical thinking.
Schedule
- Weekday shifts, typically 5-8 hours per day.
- Occasional weekend backup and on-call duties.
- Flexible daily scheduling to support work/life balance.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years acute care experience (hospice experience preferred).
- Strong communication skills.
- Desire to work collaboratively in a team environment.
