Description

Surgical Technician - Grand Blanc, Michigan

Job Summary

Work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and Surgical Team members.
Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment during general surgical procedures.
Understand the assigned surgical procedure and anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
Provide support related to patient preparation, transport, building services, and assist the surgical care team with patient care duties to ensure safety and comfort.
Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.

Required Experience

Minimum 1+ years of recent Surgical Technician experience

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Graduate of CAAHEP accredited Surgical Technology program preferred (not required)

Certification & Licensure

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
