Travel RN Opportunity - PACU Specialty

Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details

Specialty: PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)
Shift: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
Call Requirements: Self-scheduling; currently 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend every 3-4 weeks (varies by staffing)
Float Requirements: Minimal; occasional float to linen services or med/surg as a sitter after training

Experience & Certifications

Required Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in an acute care facility
Required Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Required License: Registered Nurse License

Unit & Patient Population

Unit: 2nd Floor, PACU
Patient Population: Pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric
Patient Volume: 30-35 cases
EHR System: Meditech
Must Have Skills: Experience with C-Section patients

Additional Information

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Call: Self-scheduling with defined call frequency
Float: Minimal, with specific occasional assignments
Team Environment: Collaborative, multidisciplinary care team
