Description
Cardiovascular (CVL) Tech Opportunity
Location: Rio Rancho, New Mexico
Employment Type: Clinical - Allied
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Responsibilities include Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology, and/or Structural Heart procedures.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation, medication, charge, and reporting accuracy for daily procedural caseload.
- Provide emergent care as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring equipment maintenance, and lab cleanliness.
- Prepare procedure rooms and ensure compliance with local, federal, and organizational regulations.
- Floating between departments or local locations within 20 miles is required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or electrophysiology (EP) procedures experience performing scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and recording duties (preferred years of experience used).
- Must have completed at least one 13-week travel assignment (prior travel experience required).
- Must be a team player, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in one of the following:
- Invasive Cardiovascular / Cardiopulmonary Technologist program
- Radiology
- Respiratory Therapy
- Paramedic program
- Surgical Technology
OR
- Four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Required Certifications & Licensure
- RCIS or RCES
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS (only required at Presbyterian Downtown location)
Additional Notes
- Prior travel experience is explicitly required (must have completed at least one 13-week travel assignment).
