PCU Nurse Opportunity - Klamath Falls, Oregon

- Post catheterization/pacemaker
- Pneumonia (PNA)

Required Skills and Experience
- Telemetry experience
- Basic rhythm interpretation (ideal but not required)
- Cardiac drip titrations (no pressors or sedation)
- Insulin drip titration required

Staffing and Support
- Charge nurse present in the department, may take patients at a lower ratio when able
- Hospital supervisor available 24/7
- Nurse aides on unit (ratio approximately 8-9 patients per aide)
- Remote telemetry support via central monitoring unit
- Monitor techs available to assist
Shift Details
- 12-hour shifts
- Day: 05:45 - 18:15
- Night: 17:30 - 06:15
- Weekend requirement: typically every other weekend (varies based on needs)
- Holiday requirement: yes
- No call or standby requirement
- Floating not required but may be requested if skill set allows and RN agrees
Orientation
- Unit-specific orientation required (1-2 shifts depending on experience and prior familiarity with the facility)
- Night shift orientation includes working a 24/48 hour schedule
Dress Code
- Clean and professional attire; no specific scrub color required
