Job Opportunity: LTC/SNF RN - South Dakota (Canton)

Position Overview

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN) for Long-Term Care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
• Location: Canton, South Dakota
• Facility Type: LTC/SNF with 42 beds
• Patient Population: Mix of LTC patients including memory care, dementia, orthopedic cases; no current behavioral risks
• EMR System: PointClickCare (PCC)

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in LTC/SNF facilities
• AHA BLS Certification required
• Experience with PointClickCare and charge nurse responsibilities preferred

Contract Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months), with possibility of extension
• Weekly Hours: 36-48 hours per week guaranteed
• Shifts: Primarily night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM), with some 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM shifts possible
• Shift Length: Both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts available
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
• Holiday Coverage: Every other holiday
• Overtime: Available

Work Environment & Additional Information

• Nurse Staffing Ratio: 2 nurses during day/evening shifts, 1 nurse at night
• Orientation: Location-specific orientation including building and lift training (2-4 hours)
• No on-call or call-back required or billable
• RN or LPN can be utilized for this role
• Backouts or quits with less than 14 days’ notice incur a fee

Prior Travel Experience

• No explicit requirement for prior travel experience indicated
