Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Memphis, Tennessee

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: 48-hour shifts (4x12 hour shifts)
- Start Dates: January 12, January 26
- Patient Ratio: 1:6/7 (team nursing model)
- Schedule: No weekend block scheduling except possibly weekend block (must discuss during interview)
- On-Call: As needed
- Locals: Not accepted (strict 100-mile radius rule)
- Pending License: Not accepted; must comply with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines
- Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: Must be included at time of submission
Experience Requirements
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years recent experience required (strict)
- Special Requirements:
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Prior travel experience required (must have completed at least one prior travel contract)
- Large hospital experience required
- First-timers: Not accepted

- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): AHA or ARC only
- BLS (Basic Life Support): AHA or ARC only
- NIH Stroke Certification: Required for all RNs except at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital
- Other certifications may be required depending on unit or specialty (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC) but not specified for this role
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Background Checks:
- Within 60 days of start
- Includes statewide, county, federal searches, education verification (diploma/transcript not accepted in lieu), sex offender search, Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry (for TN facilities)
- Health Documents:
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet job demands
- Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (no pending compliance allowed)
- Fit test for 3M N-95 mask within 1 year (must pass; facial hair not allowed)
- Immunizations: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (proof of vaccines or positive antibody titers with boosters if needed), Hepatitis B vaccine series or titer or declination
- TB test: True 2-step PPD, Q-Gold, or T-spot within 1 year, updated annually; chest x-ray if positive
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (declinations not accepted)
- Licenses:
- Tennessee RN license or multistate license required (no pending licenses accepted)
- References: Two recent professional references required
- Performance Evaluations: Required if employed with agency for one year or more
Additional Notes
- Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs for RNs; no prints or embroidered scrubs allowed
- Photo for Badge: Must meet strict guidelines (passport-style photo, no hats, no glasses glare, no filters, taken within last 6 months)
- Locals: Not accepted due to strict 100-mile radius rule
- First-time travelers: Not accepted
This position is ideal for experienced travel RNs with Level I Trauma and large hospital experience who have completed prior travel contracts and meet strict licensure and compliance requirements.
