Job Opportunity: Mammography Technologist

Location: Silverdale, Washington

Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT (R)(M) certification required
• Washington State license required at time of application
• BLS Certification required

Department & Equipment

• Department: Radiology - Mammography
• Equipment: Hologic Mammography machines and GE DEXA scanners
• EMR/PACS systems: Epic, PenRad, and Sectra PACS
• Number of scanners/rooms varies by location
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) used
• Radiologist available on-site for diagnostics

Job Duties & Workload

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography
• Possible DEXA scans
• Average of 26 screening mammograms per day
• May float/cover different locations within the department
• No IV starts required

Schedule & Work Conditions

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (4/10-hour shifts)
• Tuesdays off
• Saturday work required
• No holiday or on-call/standby requirements
• No required scrub color; scrubs not provided
• Department-specific orientation provided for each location

Experience Requirements

• Years of experience in mammography not explicitly stated; assume standard for ARRT (M) certified techs
