Description

Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Location: Atlantis, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Unit Information

  • Unit: Inpatient Rehab Unit
  • Number of Beds: 42 (brand new unit)
  • Equipment: Therapy equipment (new)
  • Documentation System: Meditech
  • Scheduling: 5 days/week, 8-hour shifts (ability to incorporate weekends into schedule is a plus)
  • Floating Policy: Primary in IP Rehab unit
  • Dress Code: Grey scrubs

Patient Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months experience in acute care, SNF, or inpatient rehab unit

Required Certifications and Licenses

  • Florida Occupational Therapist License
  • BLS Certification
  • OTR Certification

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist (specialty)
  • Good critical thinking skills, problem solving, and efficient time management
  • Advanced skills: Not required
  • Procedures: 1:1 therapy sessions
